  • Thank you for applying to the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM). All completed applications are processed within 72 business hours. *Please review the required documentation listed below needed to process your membership application.

     

    The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) Corporate Business Partner Program offers an unparalleled opportunity to directly market and advertise your company to more than 8,500 real estate professionals, managers, brokers, and owners. There is no other single marketing source that allows this direct relationship with real estate professionals. A RASM Business Partner membership offers you opportunities to sponsor events, meetings, and educational courses, advertise in the monthly magazine, on the RASM website, and more!


    We are committed to moving our Association forward each year with new leadership and new committee members working to develop innovative ways to keep members engaged, whether that's through virtual or in-person events. We look forward to continuing our connection with leading industry partners like you.


    Payment is a requirement to process your membership application. 


    Affiliate Memberships are available to individuals whose businesses provide product and services that are related to real estate. Please note that affiliate and auxiliary members may not hold an active real estate or appraiser license. Membership is individual and is not considered “company based.”

     

    Each individual within an office must join in order to be considered a member and attend or participate in association events.

    Benefits:

    • Your company information will be listed in the Business Partner Directory online & in print (printededition Spring only). Distributed to all Firms affiliated with RASM.
    • Hundreds of chances to sponsor classes/events– speak to our members face– to—face! With 2 minutesof talk time included with your class sponsorship.
    • Attend certain education events at discounted RASM member rates.
    • Subscription to the Associations digital Elevate magazine.
    • Business Partners can advertise in Elevate at reduced rates. The magazine is sent to 8500+ members.
    • Sponsor RASM’s Annual Meeting.
    • Attend or sponsor RASM’s Annual Installation Banquet at member rate.
    • Business Partners may serve on selected Association committees.
    • Attend RASM After Hours – Quarterly Networking Events. Sponsorship opportunities available.
    • Attend the quarterly Business Partner Membership Meetings.
    • Your business card can be placed on the Business Partner wall at both our RASM North and RASM South locations as soon as membership is approved.
    • Use of Association’s meeting rooms/auditorium at a discounted rate.
    • May purchase Member mailing labels (physical addresses only).
    • Build a network of contacts at a great membership price.

     

    Memberships are renewed annually on December 15th.

    Auxiliary membership is associated with or employed by an active Primary Affiliate Business. $50.00 annually (valid from the time you join to the end of calendar year).

    Auxiliary members joining November and December will be charged the following years dues cycle as well.

    Auxiliary Members $50.00 yearly are not prorated


    RASM’s membership services department will notify you when your application has been processed. Once processed you will be sent an email with instructions on logging into your RASM Portal.

  • Dues payments to the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee, are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. Portions of such payments may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses. 

    Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and will be used for political purposes. Contributions are not a condition of membership in the Association and a member may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Seventy percent of each contribution is provided to the Florida Realtors PAC in Florida to support state and local candidates and state and local issues. The balance is sent to the National Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee and will be charged against your contribution limits prescribed by 52 U.S.C 301106, except in the case of Major Contributors of $1,000 or more, in which case the balance is provided to the National Association of REALTORS® Political Advocacy Fund for use for federal political purposes. 

    Auxiliary Members $50.00 yearly are not prorated

    November & December include the following years dues.

    Association-Local dues are collected annually on Dec. 15th.

    If your company is paying for your membership and you leave that company, your dues will not transfer to your new company.

  • The REALTORS® Political Action Committee and the REALTOR® Party are a partnership of REALTORS® and REALTOR® Associations working together to promote and protect the American Dream: homeownership and private property rights! The REALTOR® Party speaks with a unified voice to support candidates and public policies that share the same commitment to protecting the value of homeownership.

    Since 1969, REALTORS® Political Action Committee has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The purpose is clear: REALTORS® and Business Partners raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support their interests. The money to accomplish this comes from voluntary contributions made by members. These are not member dues; this is money given freely in recognition of how important campaign fundraising is to the political process. The RPAC doesn’t buy votes. RPAC enables REALTORS® and Business Partners alike to support candidates that support the issues that are important to their profession and livelihood.

    Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and will be used for political purposes. Contributions are not a
    condition of membership in the Association and a member may refuse to contribute without reprisal.
